Admission Arrangements
If you would like to apply for a Nursery place at Ynystawe Primary School, please complete the admission documents below, send them back to the school office via post or email and make contact with the School to make them aware of your application.
One of our Early Years Staff will be in contact with you when a space is available for your child to start in Nursery. We can not guarantee this will be immediately after your child's 3rd birthday. Our Nursery is part time and when the time comes for your child to attend full time school (Reception -Dosbarth Gwdihw class), you will need to apply for a full time school place through Swansea school admissions. We send this information out when it is needed. We must also make you aware that full time places are granted through the Swansea school admissions criteria. Ynystawe Primary can not guarantee full time places for any child.

Full Time and Mid Year Applications
To apply for a full time place in Ynystawe Primary School, applications must be made though the Swansea Council school admissions website.
If your child is currently in a nursery the application process for a place in Reception opens in the October of each year and more information is given at the time.
If your child currently attends another school you will need to apply for a Mid Year Transfer (school transfer) though the Swansea Council school admissions website.
