An Exciting New Chapter for Moriah Church & Our School Community

I’m delighted to share some wonderful news with you all.

Yesterday, I met with Graham from Greenfields Church Morriston, who have recently purchased Moriah Church — and their vision for the building is truly inspiring. They are passionate about turning it into a welcoming community hub for everyone.

Even more exciting… they are very aware of the lack of space in our school and are keen to work in partnership with us. We’ve already begun talking about how we might use the building together in the future, including:

A community coffee shop where our older pupils could help and gain valuable experience with an intergenerational project

Rooms for parents, carers, and community groups to meet like Mr Tipuric's Welsh sessions and tea

Safe spaces for small groups of children to work and learn

A secure pathway and doorway linking the church and our school grounds

We’re also planning to work together on grant funding to help bring this shared vision to life.

This feels like the start of something really special — a genuine partnership rooted in care, opportunity, and community.
