It’s the introduction to a poem that Julia Donaldson has written to welcome the 2020 Christmas tree in London’s Trafalgar Square.
It’s called ‘The Christmas Pine’.

 

Your challenge is to learn it off by heart to perform with the class when we return to school. You could film yourself reciting the poem at home and upload it to J2e!
