We are very proud to share our brand new Reading Room with the community of Ynystawe and beyond.
In the early 1900's Ynystawe was a very different village from the one we know and love today. It had many shops, including a post office, grocers, butchers and a reading room.
After discovering that a trust fund set up by Mr Percy Player back in 1927, Swansea council donated this trust fund to us to develop a new library that can be used by the school children and their families and the surrounding community.
We are delighted to welcome you into our school to share this wonderful facility. Please see the days and times below when the library can be used by family and friends.
Monday – Nursery & Reception class families
Tuesday – Year 1 and Year 2 class families
Wednesday – Year 3 and Year 4 class families
Thursday – Year 5 and Year 6 class families
Friday – Community between 10am and 11am.
